General:
All Parish Councils have to have an audit process in place. For those with a turnover under £25,000 this involves an Internal Audit only, and there is a requirement to publish a specific set of paperwork online. This audit is done by an impartial individual or company. Once the £25,000 limit is reached, Councils also have to have an External Audit, where the paperwork is reviewed by PKF Littlejohn LLP. The process in both cases is similar, and concentrates on both the financial figures and the governance of Council.

2023/24 Audit
We have now received a “clean” audit from PKF Littlejohn, the External Auditor. This means no issues were raised, and the process is complete for this year
As our income and expenditure exceeded £25K, we were no longer able to claim exemption and so were liable to an intermediate audit. We are required to publish a completion of audit statement, along with the completed part 3 (External Auditor) form, and these are below, with the other required documents.
